The Future Belongs to Young Innovators

Kitoodle Creators teaches STEM-based concepts and technical skills that children (“Makers”) use to make purposeful projects. A Maker is someone who can take an idea and bring it to life. Our Makers use tools or supplies in a creative way to realize something they imagined. We give Makers ages 3-12 the foundations in design processes, technology and tools to ignite their imaginations as they build amazing projects. Every project is built with a purpose in mind; to use, share, gift or sell.

STEM CLASSES FOR CREATIVE KIDS

Our classes teach children about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math through hands-on experiences.
Our STEM based curriculum will give your child a real life understanding of what they learn in school.

science

Makers might work with different types of plants, a mixture of compounds, or gears and pulleys, which would give them a better understanding of biology, chemistry or physics.

Technology

We introduce Makers to simple hand tools for woodworking, technology devices such as iPads for documenting their work and creating media, and technical machines such as Cricut and 3D printing.

Engineering

Makers learn to problem solve, prototype, and improve, just as engineers do. They also learn about the importance of the presentation of their final product.

Math

Makers learn to measure, quantify and estimate. And when Makers begin to sell their projects, they get hands-on experience in calculating quantities, costs and income.

REAL BUILDING TOYS FOR KIDS IN A MAKERSPACE ENVIRONMENT

Tools can unleash creativity. Being creative with a blank piece of paper might be more difficult than being creative if you have a set of building blocks or a colorful palette of playdough. But there are only so many building blocks, connector sets and STEM kits you can buy. In Kitoodle Creators classes, we give children a wide variety of tools, which have equivalent play value as building toys. We help them to learn to use them competently so the door to their imaginations can be opened. They never run out of materials to work with. During our lab time, they can tinker, build and experiment to their heart’s delight!
